Breathtaking GoPro video captured in Tourism Malaysia campaign

Following an 83% plunge in international visitor arrivals in 2020 due to the Coronavirus, Tourism Malaysia has partnered with GoPro to launch a new social media campaign to bring life back to the industry.

Titled ‘Dream Malaysia Challenge’, the industry body has called on Malaysian residents to capture their “amazing travelling moments”. The challenge entails participants creating and posting GoPro video highlighting attractions within Malaysia using #DreamMalaysia and #GoProxTourismMalaysia.

Participants have a chance to be rewarded with the latest GoPro HERO9 Black, GoPro MAX, GoPro HERO8 and holidays at top Malaysian destinations including, Taman Negara, Gopeng Glamping Park and Tadom Hill.

“We are thrilled to be working with Tourism Malaysia that has been devoted to building up Malaysia’s culturally rich and stunning destinations while supporting local businesses. We are looking forward to seeing how creative participants will get with their video submissions for this challenge,” said GoPro Southeast Asia’s Marketing Manager, Sangeet Singh.

The campaign was launched on March 11, 2021 and already some breathtaking video has be captured.
